stumbling along

As I have been stumbling along in my Keen Shoes. Remember, when i posted about my new Keen shoes. That post was also about my returning to work.(before) As you notice, i started wearing these shoes, August 27,2007. I have not wore them this last week because i took 1 week vacation to rest. Today, i took this picture and will take them back to the store i got them from. I hope I have the receipt still. I think they will replace them as i have had them, what one month?

Today when i was talking to Mikey, he said to me ” That was scary having the bolt fall out on the lane way and driving the highway.” i said how did that scare you? What do you mean?” he said “i was scared for you.”
I was puzzled, how was he scared ? he said ‘it is amazing you are standing here because if the brakes would of bound like they did when we looked at the wheel you would of at highway speeds been dead.’
I got that goose bump feeling and realize how My God has me in his hands and is caring for me. Yes, it is amazing.
I wonder?? Thank you
Let me back up and tell this story.

If you have been reading this blog and know me. Then you know i posted about taking back what is yours.

So i have been driving my truck to and from work. On Thursday i get in my truck to go to work and as i back her up to head down our driveway the truck feels funny and makes some strange noises. I am still half asleep i put her in drive and we start down the lane and when i went to brake to slow the way down some funny noises and i reach bottom and we are seized. I check my emergency and put the truck into reverse, we back up, then a put forward and seems good, so away we go into town.

I drove 20 km. about 10 miles and reach my parking spot and i touch the brakes to slow the girl down and sudden stop. So i back up again and place her in drive then a last second i brake.
We are parked. So I phoned Teege’s dad and tell him something is wrong with truck.

Thinking nothing of it, i continue on my day.

That day Teege’s dad and Mikey went to truck and took wheel off found a bolt is missing. Imagine that!! A big bolt, gone, hmmmm, what up??? Apparently the bolt is hard to get replaced Ford is ordering one in, so truck is out of commission, (can’t drive).

Yesterday after Teege’s dad came home from work he said he was going to look for the bolt and low and behold he comes back in the house with the bolt in hand. Takes the bolt and finds Mikey, they are going to put the bolt back in. So now truck is back in operation. He goes to work today and who’s vehicle did he use? That is right the truck.

But today when Mikey explained to me how very very dangerous that was. I said only one thing “thank You”
Realizing this.

Was this bolt loosen on purpose???

How could this have happened?

I am grateful that i am still alive.

So are my children.

So question: Was this an accident or what?

I keep telling my self that I have the ability to find my way. I am making progress even in negative atmospheres. I can only step carefully as i am surrounded by powerful negative forces. I, the weaker need to co-exist and try not to impose upon the stronger one. I must maintain good humor and avoid bold action. A old saying comes to mind but i will revise it ” When treading among sleeping dogs, tigers or slippery stones step expertly and don’t stumble.”

So i will imagine myself not hurrying madly ahead. I think now is not the time for me to start something. I will be the person of positive and happiness. I have heard it said that in a kings’ court the jester often had more power than the king.
