When something happens unexpectedly my first reaction is fear. Like when you have a close brush with danger, or like a barely avoided car accident or a near slip and fall, an escape from a potentially violent confrontation. This incident will arouse every nerve fiber in my body. But once the danger has passed, I feel a more awareness of the world. The same process occurs when other type of shocks like a death of a love one or and business failure.
Depending on the inner strength, the strength will determine the lasting impact of the shock, it could be debilitating or stimulating. I find it is the ability to become immune to fear and transforming the anxiety into sharp perception of the world around you.
The wise use their inner strength to overcome the crisis, and give you the strength you need to face the world with courage. To bounce back and to take the unexpected path takes courage. To have self- confidence after failure and faith in the Eternal when a confrontation with death occurs.
When thinking of shock is usually when a unexpected unpleasant event happens. But we can also be jarred by unexpected success and the sudden release of tension. So try to keep your bearings in the aftershock of a trauma or victory. It is essential that your inner compass is aligned with the ‘true north’, so you are guided towards fulfillment of both desire and destiny.
