Murals in Nelson, on Vernon Street. They were done by a local artist D. Dan Morslander, who passed away recently at the age of 63. D. Dan Morslander was a true contributer to our community. His art is displayed in lobby’s of several downtown offices. he had painted murals in Mike’s Place and Taffy Jacks. The Martins have several works hanging in the Hume. He can be found on walls in Nelson, Castlegar and Kaslo area.

Great artist.

My mum and dad’s house in Kipling is two blocks down and two up from this house. One red paper clip has gone over seas to Japan, hehe…
Because the red paper clip dude is a neighbor now, I will promote him.

“If I were to imagine the most ridiculous, and therefore awesome, way to describe how I traded from one red paper clip to a house, it would be exactly like this.”

Kyle said,

“Yep, exactly like that. Right down to the shiny suits, animated pelican, and pair of mascots. Things were pretty out of hand around here so far, but I feel this clip raises the bar considerably, thank you Japan. Thank you, for being so awesome..”

Thank you, Kyle; thank you, Japan; ty
