stumbling along

Often, you will hear me say “keep in touch.” Usually it is because I wear glitter just below my throat. I do it to “keep in touch with the little girl inside of me.” As the faith of a young girl, believing that God has control.

I would like to share this story, my sister shared with me.

A little girl went to her bedroom and pulled a glass jar from its hiding place in the closet. She poured the change out on the floor and counted it carefully. Three times, even. The total had to be exactly perfect. No chance here for mistakes. Carefully placing the coins back in the jar and twisting on the cap, she slipped out the back door and made her way 6 blocks to the Drug Store. She waited patiently for the pharmacist to give her some attention.Tess twisted her feet to make a scuffing noise. Nothing. She cleared her throat with the most disgusting sound she could muster. No good Finally she took a quarter from her jar and banged it on the glass counter. That did it!

‘And what do you want?’ the pharmacist asked in an annoyed tone of voice. I’m talking to my brother from Chicago whom I haven’t seen in ages,’ he said without waiting for a reply to his question.

‘Well, I want to talk to you about my brother,’ Tess answered back in the same annoyed tone. ‘He’s really, really sick…and I want to buy a miracle.’

‘I beg your pardon?’ said the pharmacist.

‘His name is Andrew and he has something bad growing inside his head and my Daddy says only a miracle can save him now So how much does a miracle cost?’

‘We don’t sell miracles here, little girl. I’m sorry but I can’t help you,’ the pharmacist said, softening a little.

‘Listen, I have the money to pay for it. If it isn’t enough, I will get the rest. Just tell me how much it costs.’

The pharmacist’s brother was a well dressed man. He stooped down and asked the little girl, ‘What kind of a miracle does your brother need?’

I don’t know,’ Tess replied with her eyes welling up. I just know he’s really sick and Mommy says he needs an operation. But my Daddy can’t pay for it, so I want to use my money.’

‘How much do you have?’ asked the man from Chicago

‘One dollar and eleven cents,’ Tess answered barely audibly.

‘And it’s all the money I have, but I can get some more if I need to.’

‘Well, what a coincidence,’ smiled the man. ‘A dollar and eleven cents—the exact price of a miracle for little brothers. ‘

He took her money in one hand and with the other hand he grasped her mitten and said ‘Take me to where you live. I want to see your brother and meet your parents. Let’s see if I have the miracle you need.’ that well dressed man was Doctor, a surgeon, specializing in neuro-surgery. The operation was completed free of charge and it wasn’t long until Andrew was home again and doing well. Mom and Dad were happily talking about the chain of events that had led them to this place. ‘That surgery,’ her Mom whispered. ‘was a real miracle. I wonder how much it would have cost?’ Tess smiled. She knew exactly how much a miracle cost..one dollar and eleven cents….plus the faith of a little child.

In our lives, we never know how many miracles we will need.
A miracle is not the suspension of natural law, but the operation of a higher law.

It is an amazing adventure with God, trusting in Him only. Being content wherever He places me and whatever He makes of me, and accepting all, with devotion and humility’s. To know I am in the right place at the right time.

Imagine that.
Who is learning how to bring the work of the Divine, to complete the circle of Heaven and Earth? To pray with out ceasing is difficult because other thoughts come crowding in and next thing you know, you are thinking of something else. This is however, generally when you solve your everyday problems.
I am on holidays this week, and I need the rest. But these days when I get time off from work I am sick. I think it is because I take on so much and this quite time I can rid myself of all that.Then I gear up to get back to working again.

As my imagination sends me to the outer limits I receives a delicious kiss from the most beautiful spirit. Even if you try to explain your words, you cannot adequately convey what’s happening, in my magical flights of fancy. Sometimes it’s better not to talk about it, just be silent.
This is a good time for dreamers, so pursue your happiness and shared it with no one.

Dreaming isn’t just an escape for me, it’s a way to explore the possibilities in my future and the future of the people around me. Even tho there is something or someone that try to prevent me from dreaming up my fantasies. Some may believe I need to focus on reality and not on my imagination. I will not buckle under pressure; no one can make me give up on my spiritual connection.
The possibilities are endless…Be playful and stay open …
Trust the outcome will be the best. Trust that as it was when you where a young child and you asked for water. It was given to you. So does Our Father in Heaven give to your imagination.

When you meet opposition it is usually because the other person thinks he or she is entitled to something. I believe that the best course of action is not to push things to the very end. If it does it may cause bad feelings. Instead, except that the water is rough right now and wait out the storm. Once the storm has pasted the light will show the truth of the matter.
As you are in the right place at the right time, you may find that after some times has past you see things differently. I use my imagination and can run a different movie of the same circumstances to have a different out come. When you can imagine and play it out in your mind. My movies tend to play that way in real life. Can the imagination be that strong? I think the mind can do even more, we don’t use most of our brain they say. So our minds are waiting for a tap, tap. Hello, learn to use me.
